Apart from the above three dimensions, MM Group has a fourth dimension that is responsible for its active role in giving back to the society which played a pivotal role in shaping up what MM Group is today.

Two NGOs form an integral part of MM Group

Aakruti - An NGO dedicated to the upliftment of the underprivileged sections of society through a variety of activities, in coordination with Arihant International (a division of MM Group solely managed by women entrepreneurs), with a specific focus on women empowerment, skill development, capacity building and neonatal care to ensure the health of pregnant mothers and infants.

Agreform - An NGO to empower farmers with technologies and advancements in the field of organic farming and high-tech farming methods so that they can secure a good and profitable livelihood.

The family of Sheth Mansukhbhai Bhagubhai has a long-standing tradition of service to society over the generations.

  • In 1901, Sheth Maneklal Mansukhbhai started a charitable trust and built several schools, especially aiming at the upliftment of girls. The trust also built several hospitals in various places in Gujarat.
  • In 1933, Sheth Maneklal Mansukhbhai took out a historical religious procession of 20,000 people from Ahmedabad to Girnar and Palitana for 135 days, covering 23 princely states of Gujarat.
  • In 1951, Sheth Maneklal Mansukhbhai established a Tuberculosis (TB) hospital, MansukhBhai Bhagubhai TB Sanatorium at Civil Hospital Ahmedabad, and also several other TB Sanatoriums in Gujarat and Maharashtra.
  • At the time of the Gujarat earthquake in 2001, Rajesh Sheth and his family took major initiatives to help affected people and provided shelter to them for more than 90 days.
  • In 2005, when sudden floods struck Gujarat, Rajesh Sheth singlehandedly rescued over 400 people from a stranded train, for which he received a Bravery Award from the President of India, Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam.
